AUS8 (STAINLESS STEEL)

AUS 8 (Molybdenum Vanadium Stainless Steel) is popular Japanese mid range performance stainless steel for knives which are made by Aichi Steel Corporation in Japan. It is hard, durable and has excellent rust/corrosion resistance. AUS 8 is  reasonably priced and easy to resharpen in comparison to other stainless steels. Hardness 58HRC.
